Zaan Khan undergoes a real piercing for his role in 'Kuch Reet Jagat Ki Aisi Hai'

Well-known television actor Zaan Khan who is currently seen portraying the role of Naren in Sony Entertainment Television’s ‘Kuch Reet Jagat Ki Aisi Hai’ has been winning the hearts of the viewers with his charismatic presence on-screen. While he effortlessly brings ‘Naren’ to life on the show, Zaan went a step ahead when it comes to authenticity. 

Breaking free from the mould of traditional acting, in a daring move, Zaan pierced his ear to fit into the skin of his character. While he could have worked with clip-on earrings, Zaan felt it to be a statement of raw vulnerability and dedication to his craft.

Talking about his experience Zaan Khan says, “Acting isn't just about delivering lines; it's about embodying the essence of a character. When the opportunity arose, I thought why not give ear piercing a try! This was the first time in my life that I underwent piercing. I had never done it before but because my character in the show donned it, I decided to have a real one instead of using a clip-on earring. 

Elaborating further Zaan said, “It was a very painful process but I'm glad that people loved the look. It wasn't merely a superficial change; it was a way to connect more intimately with the character and the story we were telling. This level of commitment is what I strive for in every role, as it allows me to create more authentic and compelling performances."
