YRKKH: Akshara decides to drag Abhimanyu to the court; Abhir questions about a garland on Abhinav's picture

The episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai tonight commences with Anand expressing his concern about the difficulty of obtaining bail. Abhi contemplates the well-being of Akshu and Abhir, acknowledging the necessity to attend to Abhir. Manjiri's emotions overcome her, leading to tears. Manish is also moved to tears, lamenting the loss of his children and now Abhinav. Kairav assumes the role of comforting both Dadi and Manish. Suwarna reflects on how people depart, leaving the family to grapple with sorrow. Kairav seeks an explanation for Akshu's unfortunate fate concerning Akshu and questions why good things didn't happen for her. 

Amidst their shared grief, a Pandit arrives, initiating discussions about the preparations for the last rites. The responsibility for performing the final rituals falls upon Abhir, which raises questions about his readiness. The family recognizes the importance of preparing and supporting Abhir in fulfilling this duty. However, Akshu intervenes, asserting that Abhir will not be able to undertake this task. This revelation prompts deliberations about how to proceed with Abhinav's last rites, eventually leading to Akshu's decision to undertake this responsibility.

In the meantime, Abhir inquires about his father's presence, to which Manish responds negatively, acknowledging Abhir's efforts in setting up something. Ruhi reveals a banner that has been put up. Suwarna and Manish endeavor to create a semblance of normalcy for Abhir by offering to watch his favorite cartoon. However, they are aware that Abhir will eventually have to confront the sight of his father for the last time. 

They leave Abhir alone. The sombre scene continues with Akshu and the family expressing their sorrow as they bid farewell to Abhinav. Akshu addresses Abhinav, recounting their journey together and the impact he had on her life. She acknowledges the need to move forward, raising their son Abhir to fulfil their dreams. Akshu's emotional goodbye is accompanied by prayers and the placing of the family photograph at the pyre. The family is emotionally overwhelmed as they prepare for the final rituals, carrying Abhinav's funeral. The room's locked doors and windows inadvertently isolate Abhir and Ruhi from the momentous event. As confusion and sorrow persist, Abhi, who is still incarcerated, desperately seeks to be with his son.

In the aftermath, Akshu's anger is palpable as the Birla family arrives at the funeral. Kairav intervenes, blocking Manjiri's attempt to console Akshu, blaming her and Abhi for their misfortunes. Despite the anger and accusations, Manish and Muskaan acknowledge their right to mourn Abhinav's loss.
