Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: The Poddar family learns about Abhira's sacrifice for Vidya

In tonight's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai episode, Yuvraj (Gaurav Sharma)  behaves inappropriately towards Abhira (Samridhii Shukla), forcibly breaking her mangalsutra and attempting to restrain her. Abhira, shocked by his actions, struggles to free herself and retaliates by hitting Yuvraj in an attempt to escape. Meanwhile, Armaan (Shehzada Dhami) and Ruhi (Pratiksha Honmukhe) find Abhira's broken neck chain and search for her. 

Yuvraj eventually locates Abhira and continues his aggressive behaviour, even forcing her into a marriage proposal against her will. However, Armaan intervenes just in time to protect Abhira, leading to a confrontation where Yuvraj is shocked by Armaan's interference. Yuvraj then turns his aggression towards Armaan, leading to a physical altercation between the two. Throughout the chaos, Ruhi stands by Abhira's side.

Yuvraj's attempt to shoot Abhira:

Armaan confronts Yuvraj for intruding into his home, kidnapping his mother, and attempting to harm Abhira. A brawl ensues between Armaan and Yuvraj, with Abhira trying to shield Armaan from Yuvraj's attacks. Yuvraj, resorting to extreme measures, threatens Abhira's life with a gun. In a desperate attempt to save Abhira, Armaan steps in, but Yuvraj ultimately shoots at Abhira. Thankfully, Madhav arrives just in time to save Abhira, Armaan, and Ruhi and apprehend Yuvraj.

Following the ordeal, Abhira expresses gratitude towards Armaan for his timely intervention, but Armaan chastises her for not disclosing the truth about Yuvraj earlier. Ruhi defends Abhira, urging Arman to understand her situation. Abhira reveals that Yuvraj had been monitoring her closely, explaining her hesitation to confide in Armaan. Meanwhile, Charu is troubled by thoughts of Abhira but keeps her concerns hidden from Dev. Kaveri becomes suspicious of Charu's behaviour but is reassured by Charu's deception.

Madhav reveals the truth:

Armaan takes care of Abhira in the aftermath, prompting jealousy from Ruhi. Abhira and Armaan share a meaningful moment, further exacerbating Ruhi's envy. Abhira contemplates her strained relationship with Kaveri, who confronts her and expresses anger towards Armaan for prioritising Abhira over family. However, Madhav steps in support of Abhira, who then refuses to enter the house without Kaveri's consent. 

Madhav discloses the truth to Kaveri, explaining how Abhira pretended to be intoxicated to create a pretext for leaving the house unnoticed, ensuring that nobody would come searching for her. He goes on to detail how Yuvraj had been blackmailing Abhira, threatening harm to Vidya, and how, out of concern for Vidya's safety, Abhira reluctantly agreed to marry him. Madhav unveils the startling revelation that Abhira was willing to sacrifice her own happiness for the sake of Vidya, leaving everyone stunned.
