Star Plus’s popular show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is again attracting attention due to its forthcoming six-year leap. The most recent promo offers viewers a view into the altered lives of Abhira and Armaan, now living separately. The promo reveals them both remembering their daughter Pookie's birthday, yet unaware of each other's presence.

Armaan, once a devoted husband and father, now lives under a new identity. He goes by the name RJ Saathi Anjaana and hosts a late-night radio show. In the promo, he warmly greets his listeners, presenting himself as their companion for the night, ready to share songs and listen to their emotional stories. This new persona of Armaan conceals a man still deeply connected to his past.

Ruhi to exit the show?

Rumors are swirling about Garvita Sadhwani, who plays Ruhi, possibly leaving the show. Before the upcoming leap, the show's makers made Ruhi's character more positive. While there's a strong possibility that Ruhi won't be seen after the leap, there hasn't been any official confirmation or announcement regarding her departure.

It's been six years since the leap in the show. Armaan is now an RJ, a completely different man. He no longer cares about his appearance-his clothes are unkempt, and his hair and beard are messy. He doesn't even comb his hair. He's emotionally disconnected from the world, except for his daughter Kuki. She is his entire world, and he is more protective of her than ever. He can't stand to hear anything negative about her. Armaan is in a different city now, and his life has changed completely. It feels like a new show altogether

Amidst the speculation surrounding the upcoming leap, Manthan revealed on Instagram that he will not be continuing with YRKKH. When asked by a viewer, "Will you be a part of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai after the 7-year leap?" Manthan responded simply, "No." For context, Manthan has been a part of the 'Chorus gang' on the show.

Currently in its fourth generation, YRKKH stars Samridhii Shukla and Rohit Purohit. The show also boasts a cast of well-known actors, including Anita Raaj, Shruti Ulfat, Rishabh Jaiswal, Garvita Sadhwani, and Mohit Parmar. It is produced by Rajan Shahi through DKP Films.
