Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Ruhi reveals that she misses Akshara the most

Tonight's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai episode commences with Abhira (Samridhii Shukla) and Ruhi (Garvita Sadhwani) showcasing their dance moves to the tune of "Jhume ye gori…". Suwarna notices Armaan (Rohit Purohit) dancing closely with Ruhi and intervenes. Meanwhile, Charu observes the scene and decides to leave. As Abhira and Ruhi continue dancing, they start feeling dizzy and eventually make their way to the thandai stall. Suspecting the special thandai, Abhira confronts the vendor, but he denies adding anything extra. Ruhi, however, insists otherwise, teasing Abhira about her aspirations to become a lawyer. In a playful banter, they realize they've seen each other before but forget their names, prompting them to seek help from the vendor, who also fails to answer.

Dadi speculates about a possible altercation between Abhira and Ruhi, while the latter jokes around with Abhira. Amidst the laughter, Dadi's attention shifts towards Armaan. Amidst jokes about the names of the family members, Armaan stops Abhira, which prompts Ruhi to correct Abhira. This leads to Abhira's frustration, but she tries to make Ruhi quiet by offering a sweet, inadvertently placing it in Dadi's mouth, much to everyone's surprise. Abhira then playfully wishes Dadi a happy Diwali.

Charu learns about Dev's wife:

At the café, Dev anxiously awaits Charu's arrival. Upon her arrival, he notices her cheerful demeanour and prepares to express something, only to be interrupted by a man's greeting. As the man inquires about Charu's well-being, Dev notices her discomfort, especially when he mentions Dev's wife. Charu's distress becomes evident as she abruptly leaves, leaving Dev bewildered.

Abhira almost reveals the truth:

Back at home, tensions rise as Dadi scolds Abhira, but Vidya and Manisha come to her defence, blaming the thandai maker. Abhira tries to diffuse the situation by revealing a supposed secret about her and Armaan's marriage, which Armaan swiftly brushes off, diverting attention. Meanwhile, Ruhi reminisces about her past and expresses her longing for her departed loved ones, particularly her Aunt Akshara.

In a private moment, Abhira confronts Armaan about their marriage ruse, expressing her desire to reveal the truth. However, Armaan insists on maintaining the facade to keep the peace. She insists that he must sing and dance, to which he responds with reluctance. When she shouts in response, he finally gives in, agreeing that she will get what she wants.
