Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Rohit regrets his decision to hand over his baby to Abhira

In tonight's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai episode, Kaveri questions Abhira about how she plans to balance court duties with the baby. Abhira retorts, asking if Kaveri had raised the same concerns with Armaan. Kaveri insists that the baby is Abhira's sole responsibility, but Abhira counters that Armaan is also the father. This sparks a heated argument between the two.

Kaveri argues that Abhira can't take Daksh to court, while Abhira expresses frustration and feels unsupported in her role as a mother. She says that in a joint family, everyone is eager to play with the baby when they smile, but no one steps up when the baby cries. Kaveri accuses Abhira of misusing the opportunity to work, claiming she has given her a chance, but it's being wasted. Abhira, however, makes it clear that going to court is crucial for her, emphasising the importance of her motherhood. Vidya backs Kaveri, stating that Abhira should not take Daksh to court.

Undeterred, Abhira asserts that a mother is what the baby needs the most, and she makes up her mind to proceed with the legal battle. Kaveri, Vidya, and Manisha refuse to support her, withholding their blessings. Meanwhile, Rohit attempts to stop Abhira, but Kaveri intervenes. Rohit, worried about Daksh's reaction to the commotion, tells Kaveri to control Abhira. Kaveri, pointing out his concern for the child, reminds him that Daksh is not his child. This leaves him shattered.

Ruhi mocks Rohit for constantly supporting Abhira and insisting that she is the one responsible. Ruhi complains that it's unjust for God to give a child to a careless mother like Abhira, while denying the right to someone who is willing to dedicate her life to raising the child.

As Abhira heads to court, Abhir greets his fans on the road. Manish notices the crowd and decides to investigate. When he spots Abhir, he is taken aback, concerned about his behavior. Abhir shows disrespect toward Manish, leading him to reflect on the situation. He also notices how Abhir's singing reminds him of Akshara.

In court, Abhira defends Jyoti's case while managing Daksh, making a strong case for Jyoti to be granted custody of her child. Meanwhile at the Poddar house, Rohit expresses his frustration over Abhira's decision to take Daksh to court. Armaan attempts to soothe him, assuring that Abhira wouldn't leave Daksh alone in court, and that the baby is safe and well. However, Rohit responds firmly, stating that Daksh is safer at home with him because he is the father, a statement that shocks Armaan. Rohit further asserts that Abhira shouldn't have taken such a step, as he trusted both of them and gave them a piece of his heart. He admits he believed no one could be a better mother than Abhira, but now he realises how careless she is, taking such a young child to court. Rohit reminds Armaan that he has every right over his child and, using that right, declares that Abhira cannot take Daksh to court until he is older. He demands that Abhira stay at home with the child, leaving Armaan stunned by his bold declaration.

Abhira successfully proves her point in Jyoti's case, and the judge rules in Jyoti's favour. Jyoti thanks Abhira for her unwavering support, and Charu applauds Abhira's efforts. Abhira beams with happiness over her victory.

Later, Armaan reassures Rohit that he will bring both of them back. However, Kaveri intervenes and hands Armaan the termination papers for him to sign. Armaan tries to defend Abhira. To his shock, Rohit signs the documents, leaving him stunned by Kaveri’s unexpected decision.
