Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Rohit refuses to perform ritual as Daksh's uncle; Ruhi banned from participation

In tonight's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai episode, Abhir confronts Manish, asking if he's surprised to learn why Abhir feels unhappy at the Goenka household. Abhir accuses Manish of throwing him and his mother out in the past. Abhira steps in to defend Manish, insisting that he is a kind-hearted person. However, Abhir counters, stating he witnessed Manish's true nature a long time ago. Determined, Abhir vows to prove Manish wrong, while Abhira takes it upon herself to prove Abhir's assumptions incorrect.

Meanwhile, Armaan intervenes as Sanjay attempts to read a letter. Sanjay questions Armaan's behaviour, suspecting that it's a love letter meant for Abhira due to the limited time Armaan spends with her. He playfully advises Armaan to hand the letter to Abhira personally, leaving Armaan stunned and anxious.

Abhir, feeling frustrated, resolves to punish Manish. Abhira believes that bringing Abhir back home so soon was a mistake and is confident that Abhir will lose the challenge. Abhir begins plotting ways to trouble the Goenkas. Ruhi confronts him, questioning his intentions and accusing him of coming between her bond with Manish. Abhir admits he overlooked Ruhi's allegiance to Manish, but Ruhi demands to know why he's trying to disrupt her relationship with her grandfather.

Charu notices Krish and Kiara are distracted by their phones. She scolds Krish, urging him to prioritise his career over wasting time. Similarly, Charu advises Kiara to focus on her education instead of obsessing over Daksh. Kiara corrects her, revealing she is actually talking about Abhir. Charu warns Kiara to remain career-oriented, but Kiara expresses her vision of a future with Abhir.

Abhir, feeling unsettled, questions Abhira about Akshara's death. Before she can respond, Ruhi reveals to Abhir that Armaan was responsible for Akshara's demise. This ignites a heated argument between Abhira and Ruhi, as Abhira accuses Ruhi of trying to manipulate Abhir. Ruhi defends her stance, telling Abhir that he's upset despite not knowing Armaan personally and asks him to imagine how she must have felt upon learning that Akshara caused Arohi's death. Tensions rise as Abhira and Ruhi clash, leaving Abhir overwhelmed by the chaos.

At the Poddar household, preparations for Daksh's jaatkaram ceremony are underway. Kaveri restricts Abhir from participating in the rituals, declaring that Rohit, as Daksh's uncle, will perform them instead. However, Rohit declines the responsibility, which leads Armaan to suggest Krish take his place. Amid these tensions, Abhira extends an invitation to Abhir for the ceremony. Meanwhile, Vidya reveals that the priest has stated Ruhi cannot participate in the veneration, as it would bring bad luck. While Armaan and Rohit dismiss such beliefs, Ruhi chooses to stay away from the ritual.
