Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Kaveri pretends to be unaware, urges Abhira to give up hope on Pookie’s return

In tonight's episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Armaan wakes up and realises he spent the night in Geetanjali's room. Determined to move forward in life, he decides to step away emotionally. Meanwhile, Abhira heads back to her own room, trying to create space for herself.

Anshuman approaches Abhira with a rose, attempting to express his feelings. Armaan happens to see the two together, which leaves him unsettled. Anshuman notices Armaan's expression and concludes that Armaan is struggling to let Abhira move on.

As Abhira walks away, Armaan follows her quietly, contemplating how much pain he's already caused her. He tells himself that while Abhira managed to face Kaveri and Vidya, now it's his turn to handle his family issues.

Later, Anshuman confronts Armaan, demanding clarity on his behaviour. He questions why Armaan hasn't left with Geetanjali and claims he's staying only because of Vidya. When Armaan retorts that not everything can be taken away from him, the conversation escalates into a heated argument. In the midst of it, Anshuman gets hurt, drawing everyone's attention.

As the family gathers, Tanya attempts to slap Armaan in Anshuman's defense, but Geetanjali intervenes and warns her to behave. A disagreement erupts between Tanya and Geetanjali. Tanya demands that Abhira ask Armaan to apologise, while Geetanjali wants Abhira to get Tanya to say sorry instead.

Feeling uncomfortable, Abhira stays silent. Observing her distress, Armaan takes the first step and apologises to Anshuman, easing the tension.

Meanwhile, preparations for Tanya's chura ceremony begin. Anshuman pulls Tanya aside and confronts her about her earlier behaviour. Tanya criticises Abhira for failing to show loyalty, but Anshuman firmly states his trust in Abhira. Tanya remains confused, asking why he has so much faith in her. He explains that Abhira supported him silently during the confrontation, which he sees as loyalty.

Elsewhere, Krish continues to nudge Armaan towards Abhira, but she remains unaffected and avoids reacting. Anshuman advises Tanya to stop doubting Abhira and instead question Krish about his motives.

In another corner of the house, Kiara discovers that Charu has resigned from her job. Suspicious, she asks Abhir to call Charu, but he lies, saying Charu is still at work. Kiara confronts him, accusing him of hiding the truth, but Abhir evades her questions. Kiara assures Kajal that she's determined to uncover what really happened with Charu.

Abhira stands quietly, holding a dress she had once bought for Pookie. She misses her daughter deeply and finds herself lost in thought. Just then, Kaveri comes to her room. Abhira feels bad and admits to herself that she had once scolded Kaveri for spending money unnecessarily, yet she herself is still buying clothes for a daughter who is no longer with her, just in the hope that maybe, someday, she will come back. She wonders when that day will come.

Kaveri gently tries to comfort her and suggests that she should stop waiting for Pookie to return and start thinking about moving forward in life by accepting Anshuman. But Abhira isn't ready to let go. She says that it's the hope of meeting her daughter again that gives her strength. She asks Kaveri to tell her honestly whether Pookie will ever return. She remembers how many times she imagined her daughter wearing this very dress and wonders if her dream will ever come true. She even blames herself, feeling that maybe she wasn't a good enough mother, which is why her daughter never came back to her.

Kaveri doesn't say anything in reply. She simply hugs Abhira, trying to give her some comfort. But deep inside, she makes a strong decision. She chooses to keep the truth about Maira hidden. She believes that if Abhira finds out the reality, she might go back to Armaan and end up getting trapped in more pain. That's why Kaveri feels it would be better for Abhira to marry Anshuman and start a new chapter in life. She hopes this will help Abhira heal emotionally.

Kaveri gently tells her to stop living in Pookie's memories. At the same moment, Maira happens to overhear everything and realises that Abhira still thinks about Pookie and misses her deeply.

Armaan and Manoj strategise to expose Krish. Armaan suggests they secretly record Krish's confession about how he deceitfully obtained the signatures. Manoj feels hesitant about confronting Krish, but Armaan insists they're running out of time.

During the chura ceremony, Abhira and Tanya participate in the rituals. Geetanjali expresses concern for Maira, but Armaan advises her to stop being overly possessive. Reflecting on his actions, Armaan regrets not valuing Abhira earlier.

Kaveri takes a moment to explain the significance of the Punjabi tradition to everyone. As the ceremony progresses, Anshuman and Abhir carry out the customary rituals for Tanya and Abhira. During the ritual, Abhira inadvertently mentions Charu's name, which leaves Abhir visibly disturbed. Kiara catches on to his reaction and grows more suspicious.

In the precap, Maira emotionally confesses to Abhira that she missed Pookie so much that she began to see herself as her daughter. Shocked, Abhira firmly tells her to go back to Geetanjali and Armaan. Maira insists she is Pookie, but Abhira feels hurt and asks her to stop pretending. She tells Maira not to force a bond and to stop troubling her, asking her to return to her real parents. As Maira breaks down in tears, Abhira is left feeling conflicted and emotional.
