Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Kaveri plans Ruhi's return to reconcile Rohit

In tonight's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai episode, Armaan (Rohit Purohit) mentions that Rohit (Romit Raj) might be questioning why he kept his affair with Ruhi (Garvita Sadhwani) a secret from him, but he had no ill intentions. He attempts to explain himself, but Rohit rejects Armaan's clarification. Rohit expresses regret for abandoning his family because of Armaan and labels him as his stepbrother.

Just as Abhira (Samridhii Shukla) is about to speak, Armaan stops her. Rohit left home with a desire to start afresh, but reveals how Armaan's betrayal has thwarted his plans. He starts blaming Armaan for his failures. Madhav steps in to defend Armaan, but Rohit accuses Madhav of never loving him due to Armaan. Rohit regrets sharing the Poddars and family's happiness with Armaan. He sides with Kaveri, who has always considered Armaan an outsider. Madhav raises his hand to slap Rohit, but Kaveri intervenes, asking him not to strike Rohit over Armaan. Rohit decides to leave the house once again, but Kaveri pleads with him not to abandon them.

Kaveri decides to call Ruhi back:

Armaan walks away from the scene. Abhira advises Kaveri not to let the family fall apart and requests permission to talk to Rohit. However, Kaveri forbids Abhira from entering the house. Armaan reflects on his memories with Rohit and becomes emotional. Abhira offers comfort to Armaan, who regrets meeting Rohit against Abhira's advice. Abhira tells Armaan to give Rohit some time. Armaan worries that Rohit hates him, but Abhira reassures him. She shares that she experienced similar emotions upon learning the truth. Abhira urges Armaan to be patient with Rohit. Armaan questions if things will ever be right between them, and Abhira believes they can reconcile if Kaveri allows it.

Kajal suggests a way for Rohit to stay: bringing Ruhi back. Madhav fears Rohit will be angry upon seeing Ruhi. However, Kaveri supports Kajal's idea, stating that Ruhi is Rohit's wife. Madhav doubts Rohit will ever accept Ruhi and is concerned about the impact on Abhira and Armaan. Ruhi decides to visit her friends, and Manish agrees. Kaveri insists on Ruhi's return and personally asks her to come back home. Rohit prepares to leave the house, but Abhira pleads with him not to make the same mistake again. Rohit claims Armaan has also betrayed Abhira, but she warns that he will be responsible for the family's fate if he leaves.
