Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: As Armaan prepares to marry Geetanjali, Abhira sends harsh reminder of their past

Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai took a dramatic turn post the seven-year leap, showcasing the emotional distance between Armaan and Abhira. While Abhira had left with the hope that one day Pookie would be found and Armaan would return to her, the reality is far from it. Armaan has been living with Pookie, now known as Maira, all these years.

As the current track progresses, the storyline is packed with misunderstandings and heartbreak. So far, Armaan had seen Abhira and Kaveri had seen Armaan—but now, Abhira finally sees Armaan again. However, she witnesses him proposing to Geetanjali and assumes that he has moved on, forgotten Pookie, and accepted Maira into his life.

In the upcoming episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Abhira returns home completely heartbroken. Kaveri and Vidya quickly sense something is wrong and realise that Abhira has seen Armaan with Geetanjali. At this point, only Kaveri knows that Maira is actually Pookie, but this truth remains hidden from both Abhira and Vidya.

As Kaveri and Vidya try to console her, Abhira breaks down emotionally. She expresses her pain over how Armaan seems to have moved on with his life, while she had spent all these years waiting for him. Seeing Abhira’s condition, Vidya is overwhelmed and tells Kaveri that she wants to meet Armaan. She then makes the decision to travel to Mount Abu.

Just then, Abhira steps in and tells Vidya to take a reminder of her relationship with Armaan. She hands over the divorce papers, explaining that this will serve as a reminder for Armaan, that there was once a bond between them, which has now reached its end. She signs the papers and gives them to Vidya.

Later, Abhira receives a call from Armaan. He seems unsure of how to start the conversation or explain himself. But Abhira remains calm and determined. She tells him that it's too late for any new beginning and that it's time to bring their incomplete story to a close. With that, she informs him that she is sending something his way—referring to the divorce papers.
