Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Armaan takes the blame for baby switching to save Rohit

In tonight's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai episode, the priest instructs Abhir to hand over Daksh to his mother. Abhira supports the priest's request and urges Abhir to give the baby to her. Abhir, however, passes Daksh to Ruhi instead of Abhira.

Later, Abhira confronts Abhir, questioning his actions. Abhir reveals a shocking claim that Armaan has been lying, as Daksh is actually Ruhi's child. He insists that Abhira confront Armaan for the truth. Abhira confronts Armaan and challenges him to admit he has been deceitful. However, Kaveri intervenes, asking Abhira to stop interrogating Armaan. She advises Abhira to focus on taking Daksh back instead of questioning Armaan.

Abhira turns to Ruhi and demands that she return Daksh. Ruhi, however, asserts her maternal rights over Daksh. Abhira counters by saying that Ruhi cannot be Daksh's mother, pointing out that Ruhi had ignored him during a critical moment when his life was at risk. Ruhi defends herself, claiming she recognised Daksh as her son after recovering from a coma. Abhira challenges Ruhi's perspective, stating that a mother would never act the way Ruhi did. The confrontation escalates as Ruhi accuses Abhira of failing to care for Daksh properly, while Abhira firmly declares Daksh is her son.

The priest then asks the child's mother to sit for the ritual. Ruhi argues that Abhira cannot participate in the ceremony, but Abhir supports Ruhi, asserting that she is Daksh's mother. Abhira demands proof. Abhir calls a nurse to testify. The nurse mentions Armaan's involvement in switching the babies but avoids implicating Rohit due to financial ties. The nurse silently blames Armaan for not paying her and setting up this situation.

Abhira presses Armaan to confess, even asking him to swear on Daksh's name. Under pressure, Armaan admits to changing the baby and stops Rohit from exposing more details. Ruhi demands Abhira hand over Daksh to her. When Abhira refuses, Ruhi forcibly takes Daksh and sits down for the ritual. Abhira pleads with Armaan to stop the ceremony, but Ruhi retaliates by demanding Abhira leave the temple, stating she doesn't want her near Daksh. Armaan takes Abhira away from the veneration while she begs for Daksh's custody.

As the priest asks for Daksh's parents' names, Ruhi challenges Abhira's position and claims her own right over Daksh by taking her and Rohit's names, further shocking Abhira. Meanwhile, Abhir steps forward to complete the ritual. Amid this emotional turmoil, Abhira collapses. Armaan becomes concerned for her, but Manish and Abhir warn him to stay away. When Rohit tries to assist Abhira, Ruhi stops him, dismissing Abhira's condition as mere theatrics. Abhir holds unconscious Abhira in his arms and takes her away, while Armaan and the Poddars are strictly restricted to staying away from her. Armaan remains worried, but Swarna reminds him of Manish's orders to keep his distance from Abhira. Kaveri, enraged, slaps Armaan for his actions.
