Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Armaan stops Geetanjali, asks her not to come between Maira and the Poddars

In tonight's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata episode, Maira breaks the silence in the room with a light-hearted comment, asking why everyone is acting like she's a strict maths teacher. With a cheerful tone, she requests Abhira to introduce her to the family members. Maira expresses how much she misses being around a large family. Responding warmly, Abhira begins the introductions, starting with Tanya, Manisha, and Manoj. Maira compliments Manisha for being adorable, to which Manisha responds that Maira is even more delightful. Manoj, in a sweet gesture, presents Maira with a flower.

The introductions continue as Maira meets Kaveri and Vidya. When she calls Kiara her "Bua," Geetanjali is visibly uncomfortable and prepares to interject. However, Armaan intervenes, telling her that Maira is meeting her family for the first time and asks her not to come in between. Maira is visibly joyful as she connects with each person.

Abhira informs Maira that Krish is occupied at the moment. Curious, Maira playfully questions why he's so busy on his wedding day and even jokingly suggests Tanya should throw chalk at him to grab his attention. Krish smiles, amused by her quirky suggestion.

Meanwhile, Dadu notices Geetanjali's restlessness and inquires about it. She confesses that attending the wedding might have been a mistake. On the other hand, Tanya is curious about Anshuman's whereabouts, and Abhira responds that she's currently searching for him.

Later, Maira overhears some women discussing Abhira's past and learns that her ex-husband is at the venue and has a negative reputation. Concerned, she approaches Armaan and says they need to protect Abhira from her previous partner. Armaan is taken aback and asks how she found out. Maira says she overheard the ladies' conversation. Unknown to them, both Abhira and Kaveri catch wind of this conversation. Armaan begins to worry, knowing that Maira's reaction will change once she discovers that he is the man in question, Abhira's ex-husband.

Kaveri notices Maira isn't taking photos and encourages her to capture memories. Abhira offers her phone to Maira for taking pictures. The two share a fun moment while clicking selfies. Maira then insists Armaan join them, resulting in a heartwarming photo of the three. Geetanjali watches this scene with disbelief.

As the festivities continue, Abhira and Anshuman rehearse a dance performance. Maira spots them and asks Armaan what's going on. He explains that Abhira is prepping for her sangeet performance. Maira, excited, says she wants to practice too. However, during the practice, a chandelier suddenly loosens and nearly falls on Maira. Geetanjali and Abhira rush to save her just in time.

Worried for Maira's safety, Armaan rushes over. Geetanjali, visibly upset, blames Abhira for the near-accident and tells her to stay away from Maira. Abhira, still concerned, wants to apply ointment to Maira's injury. Geetanjali steps in, asserting that she's Maira's mother and knows how to care for her better. Armaan tries to defuse the situation, asking Geetanjali not to direct her anger at Abhira. This only fuels Geetanjali's fury further.

Later, Abhira sprains her foot. Anshuman immediately offers to help and tries to apply ointment, but Abhira refuses. Armaan, watching this, is reminded of moments from the past.

In another development, Dadu suggests finding a new venue for the wedding. Tanya and Anshuman agree to the idea. Abhira, overwhelmed, considers delaying the wedding, but Kaveri confronts her about it. As everyone begins scouting for a new wedding location, Abhir makes a grand entrance. He proposes that Abhira should get married from the Goenka house instead. This suggestion stuns Abhira. Kiara, meanwhile, appears visibly uncomfortable with the unfolding situation.
