Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Armaan openly declares his love for Abhira, leaving Ruhi in shock

In tonight's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai episode, Ruhi (Garvita Sadhwani) inquires about Rohit's (Romit Raj) condition, but Kaveri diverts her, urging her to concentrate on her upcoming wedding instead of making any major decisions. Ruhi, however, drops a bombshell, informing Kaveri that Armaan (Rohit Purohit) and Abhira (Samridhhi Shukla) plan to tie the knot at a temple. Kaveri dismisses Ruhi's claims, but Ruhi persists, revealing that Armaan is preparing to leave the house with Abhira. She cunningly manipulates Kaveri, turning her against both Armaan and Abhira.

Ruhi then hands over the keys to Armaan's new residence to Kaveri, which leaves her completely shocked. Meanwhile, Vidya pleads with Armaan to reconsider staying back, but he remains firm, stating that he must go. When Vidya questions whether he has an out-of-town meeting, Armaan evades answering, leading her to probe further about the nature of his urgent business. Kaveri then stuns the entire Poddar family by announcing that Armaan is planning to marry Abhira. She accuses Abhira of driving a wedge between Armaan and his family, questioning Abhira's character and upbringing.

Kaveri expresses her disdain for Abhira:

Armaan immediately defends Abhira despite her attempts to de-escalate the situation by asking Armaan not to disrespect Kaveri. Armaan, however, insists that he has had enough and demands that Kaveri stop blaming Abhira for everything. Kaveri retaliates by accusing Abhira of manipulating Armaan, but Armaan firmly states that marrying Abhira is entirely his own decision. He then openly declares his love for Abhira, leaving Ruhi in shock.

Kaveri expresses her disdain for Abhira, but Armaan challenges her to provide a valid reason for hating Abhira, noting that Abhira has accepted him for who he is. Kaveri coldly asks if he has made up his mind to leave the house, and Armaan confirms that it's necessary. He adds that Abhira naively believes Kaveri will eventually accept her, but he is sceptical. Kaveri refuses to bless Armaan.

Armaan leaves the Poddar mansion:

As Vidya makes one last effort to stop Armaan and urges him to talk to her, Armaan dismisses the idea, saying there's nothing left to discuss. He accepts Vidya's blessings, and Manish commends him for making the right choice. Madhav advises Armaan to always stand by Abhira. Before leaving, Armaan tells Rohit to be happy with Ruhi and then bids a final farewell to the Poddar family. Abhira attempts to persuade Armaan to reconsider, but he reassures her to trust in his decision and asks her to meet him at the temple. Abhira reveals her dream of having both her love and her family, while Armaan contemplates how he might be unable to fulfill her wish. Meanwhile, Abhira envisions celebrating Teej with the entire family, joyfully dancing and enjoying the festivities together.
