Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Abhira shocks Geetu, says she would’ve eloped with Maira if she were her daughter

In tonight's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Krish confronts Armaan, asking why he's lingering around. Armaan casually mentions that everyone is looking for Krish downstairs. Meanwhile, Sanjay expresses his gratitude to Armaan for helping him out. Armaan, in turn, hints that he might need a favour from Sanjay. When Krish notices their exchange, he grows suspicious and questions what the two are discussing. Armaan brushes it off, saying they're just talking about the wedding arrangements. Krish, however, becomes wary of their sudden closeness.

Elsewhere, Geetanjali tells Abhira that a bride shouldn't be working in the kitchen. Abhira replies that nothing about this wedding is normal or traditional, so there's no reason to follow typical customs. She mentions she's simply chopping vegetables to prepare khichdi for Maira. Realising the situation, Abhira steps back and gently suggests that Geetanjali could cook the meal, especially since Maira once told her how much she loves Geetanjali's home-cooked food.

Hearing this, Geetanjali feels emotional and opens up to Abhira. She apologises for her harsh words. She confesses that she feels very possessive and often fears that someone might take Maira away from her. At the same time, she accepts that her words to Abhira were uncalled for and sincerely says sorry.

Abhira listens patiently and shares her own feelings. She says that if Maira were her daughter, her protectiveness would've been even more intense. She admits that she would have even run away with Maira if another woman had tried to take care of her. If someone had tried to feed her daughter even a single bite with their own hands, she wouldn't have allowed that either.

Abhira then shares a heartfelt thought, saying that if life ever gave her back her Pookie, she would hold her close and shield her from the entire world. She adds that no one would be allowed to even come near her. This deeply stuns Geetanjali, who is moved by Abhira's words.

Before leaving, Abhira tells Geetanjali not to stress about the meal, as she has already taken out all the ingredients for the khichdi. Geetanjali is left disturbed and shaken by the intense emotions Abhira stirred in her.

Later, Krish announces an exciting face-off between Armaan and Anshuman and secretly spikes Armaan's drink. As the evening progresses, both Armaan and Anshuman unknowingly consume the spiked beverages.

Meanwhile, Abhira and Kiara hear about the bachelor party being hosted at the Poddar residence. Curious, Abhira decides to look for Anshuman.

However, Armaan stops her in her tracks and suddenly confesses his feelings. The moment turns magical as the two share a romantic rain dance. Armaan stops Abhira from walking away and tells her he's ready to say the three words she's been waiting to hear. Just then, a drunken Anshuman arrives, hugs Abhira, and shockingly confesses his own love for her. Both Abhira and Armaan are taken aback. Anshuman insists his love is genuine and presses Abhira to share her feelings. Conflicted, Abhira finds herself thinking about Armaan.

Rattled by his own confession and worried that he's confused Abhira, Armaan begins to feel guilty. He believes he's wronged Geetanjali and decides it's best to step back. In a bid to free Abhira, he chooses to distance himself and even ignores Geetanjali's calls.

Back at home, Abhira is greeted by Maira, who asks her about Armaan. Geetanjali also confronts her, demanding to know what she's hiding. Abhira claims ignorance and asserts that she doesn't want to be misled by Armaan anymore.

Despite her words, Abhira finds herself restless, unable to understand Armaan's actions. She questions why he confessed his love but keeps encouraging her to move forward with Anshuman while pretending to be committed to Geetanjali. Convinced that Armaan is playing a double game, Abhira makes up her mind to confront him and demands that he meet her to clear things once and for all.

Vidya asks Armaan to be honest about his feelings for Abhira so that the marriage can be stopped if necessary. Meanwhile, at the mehendi function, Kaveri looks around for Abhira. Tanya informs her that Abhira has gone missing — and so has Armaan. Tanya suspects that the two might be together.
