Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Abhira brings Akshara's comfort to Abhir after he loses his ability to walk

In tonight's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai episode, Vidya struggles with revealing the truth about Abhir's accident to Armaan. Meanwhile, Abhira watches the media coverage about Abhir, growing upset over the false information being spread. Abhira urges Armaan to support Abhir through this difficult time. Vidya, fearing the truth might cause a rift between Abhira and Armaan, decides to keep it hidden. However, she is taken aback when she learns that Madhav is investigating the accident to find the person responsible.

Sanjay informs Manish about the media's claims that Abhir was drunk during the incident. Manish, frustrated, defends Abhir, pointing out that the media often spreads unfounded rumours. Armaan warns Sanjay against bringing down Manish's spirit if he can't offer support.

Abhira approaches Madhav for more details on the accident. Madhav reveals that Abhir was struck by a car, but the police are struggling to trace the vehicle as the accident occurred in an unknown location. He suspects it to be a hit-and-run case, with the driver abandoning Abhir, leaving him for dead on the road.

Vidya turns to prayer, and the Goenkas and Poddars join her in their hopes for Abhir's recovery. To everyone's relief, Abhir regains consciousness. However, when the Goenkas and Poddars try to meet him, Abhir refuses to engage with them. Armaan asks Kaveri and Vidya to step outside. Abhir tries to assure Manish that he's fine and asks Abhira and Ruhi for help in getting up.

Vidya becomes concerned when she notices that Abhir struggles to stand. The doctor informs the Goenkas that Abhir's condition is more serious than they thought—he is unable to stand on his own due to nerve damage. Abhira insists that Abhir made it to the resort by himself, but the doctor confirms that the nerves are severely affected and no treatment can currently restore his ability to walk. Manish, distraught, urges the doctor to do whatever it takes, but the doctor expresses that nothing can be done. Vidya is shaken by this news.

Abhira reassures Abhir that they will seek alternative treatments, and Ruhi begins making plans to take him abroad for medical help. Meanwhile, Abhira looks into hiring an expert physiotherapist. However, Abhir, feeling devastated, believes his career is over and asks Abhira and Ruhi to leave him alone.

Manish is emotional over Abhir's fate, and Abhira calls on Madhav to continue the search for the person responsible for the accident and bring them to justice. Madhav pledges his support to Abhira. Vidya is left in shock by the unfolding events. Kiara later asks Kaveri if she can see Abhir, but Kaveri and Manisha refuse to let her meet him.

Meanwhile, Vidya becomes increasingly unsettled by Madhav's firm resolve to uncover the true culprit behind Abhir's accident. Rohit suggests that Vidya approach Abhir and apologise for any past misunderstandings between them. Initially taken aback by the advice, Vidya feels a sense of relief when Rohit clarifies that she should apologise specifically for slapping Abhir and blaming him in connection with Kiara.

Elsewhere, Abhir is being cared for by the Goenkas, with Armaan by his side. Swarna attempts to feed Abhir some soup, but he refuses, which prompts Abhira to think of a special gesture. She brings forward a blanket from Abhir's childhood, one that holds cherished memories of his mother, Akshara. Abhira apologises for using the blanket earlier but explains that it carries the warmth of Akshara's love. This deeply touches Abhir, and he clutches the blanket, overcome with emotion, and starts to cry. Abhira, moved by his vulnerability, hugs him tightly, and the two share a heartfelt moment together.
