Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Abhira asks Kaveri to support her studies, but she denies the request

Tonight's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai episode commences with Kaveri asserting to Armaan (Shehzada Dhami) that the Poddar family's traditional rules won't change. She insists Krish join the office while Charu manages the household. Kaveri emphasizes that the Poddar family girls can't work outside and then leave. Armaan attempts to explain to Vidya, but she accuses him of insulting Kaveri, claiming he spoke like Abhira (Samridhii Shukla) and walks away.

Ruhi approaches Charu, suggesting they alleviate stress by colouring together. Meanwhile, Abhira questions Armaan about his family's lack of common sense and blames them for everything. Armaan reassures her, offering water, but she spills it, remarking on his intermittent normal behaviour. Abhira insists he thank her again, reminding him of his promise to fight for her studies. Ruhi observes, anticipating Kaveri's potential anger towards Armaan.

Abhira, determined to talk to Kaveri about her studies, is stopped by Armaan, who promises to handle it. Kaveri plans to attend an NGO event the next day, but Ruhi feels dizzy. Abhira advises her to eat well, and Kaveri decides to go alone.

Armaan assures Abhira he'll talk to Kaveri. Abhira takes the good luck gift from his bag, and he questions her. Armaan implies problems arise when she doesn't stay silent. Later, Ruhi plays cards with Charu and Krish. Armaan joins, secretly manipulating the game. When Ruhi shows her cards, Armaan lies to let her win. Ruhi discovers the lie and questions Armaan.

Surekha refuses to go to the Poddar house, but Swarna tries to convince her. Kaveri distributes shagun money. Abhira asks Kaveri for a promise instead of Shagun. She asks to support her studies and independence, but Kaveri denies the request.
