Would love to see my character turning negative: Parineeta Borthakur

Actress Parineeta Borthakur, who essays a modern Bengali woman in "Swaragini", says she would be happy if her character Sharmishtha becomes negative.

Actress Parineeta Borthakur, who essays a modern Bengali woman in "Swaragini", says she would be happy if her character Sharmishtha becomes negative.

"I would be the happiest if Sharmishtha turns negative. I know a lot of viewers would hate me, but I am an actor and I love to experiment. Monotony can be quite boring. I loved the character of Sharmishtha initially because it was a strong character."

"Unfortunately, it has not been maintained the same," she said in a statement.

Parineeta said she hates being portrayed as a "bechari" (helpless) woman.

"So, if I get to play negative, why not? A lot of people may not think I would look negative, but trust me I am an actor and playing a plethora of characters like negative, positive, rich, poor, innocent, glamorous or any other is my job," she added.

Apart from acting, Parineeta likes to read novels, watching movies and writing stories.

"I also write poems sometimes," she said

"I have a family. So, when I am not shooting, I go to drop and pick up my son from school and help him with his homework. He doesn't like it if I go out without him when I am not shooting. But I do cheat sometimes. I make him sleep early and go for movies or dinner if I don't have to shoot the next day," she shared.

I too would not mind Shomi turning negative. It is much better that being an spineless, senseless unfeeling and un caring mother as you currently are to Swara.

I really hope that Kissan aka Varun Kapoor and Swara aka Helly Shah have just gone to register themselves for IGT and it's not the actual Swara Kissan participating scene that was canned.

Varun Kapoor, you Rock as Kissan. I am soo looking forward to Kissanwa track. Much better that the crap since last 3 weeks barring SwaSan.

Though I miss SwaSan, I am more than happy and excited for Kissanwa and would like them give Kissan a decent plot and good air-time. Varun Kapoor is working really very hard for this role and therefore, I really hope they do not prematurely end his character, as stated in some articles. Kisaan can take all the time he wants. I mean we have digested 3 weeks of sheer RagLak, SheSho and Paragini torture with merely Kissan ka precaps. So Kissan is invited to stay in SR for 4-6 weeks. I am in no hurry to send him off, as I am sure I will miss him, once he says goodbye to us.

Varun Kapoor's Kissan is providing the much needed comic relief between to painful and intense plots while plying the linchpin of the current ML and Sahil track. I am sure the ending of Sahil and ML track will be a painful one for Swara, with Sahil attacking Sanskaar mortally.

I don mind it as we will have Swara taking care of Sanskaar and some intense SwaSan scenes where Swara will reinstate and demonstrate her love for Sanskaar. I want Swara planning romantic dates, outings, honeymoon etc all for Sanskaar, to make him feel special and pampered while RagLak and SheSho ka track with pregnancy will play out.

I don't know what the makers want to achieve by first turning parineeta negative and now sharmishta. Thats why TRPs are dropping. Believe me this show will go off air and be replaced by Bigg Boss Season 10
