World Television Day: Ashi Singh from 'Meet' shares how Television has turned her dreams into reality

Since 1996, every 21st of November is celebrated as World Television Day. We celebrate this day to recognise television as a key medium for educating, entertaining, directing and knowledge sharing, amongst others.

To celebrate this day, Zee TV actress share how television has impacted her life and how much importance ‘Television’ holds in her life. Actress Ashi Singh from Meet shares her gratitude for the television medium. Here’s what she has to say…

Ashi Singh, who plays the role of Meet in Zee TV's Meet mentioned, "Television is a medium that has played a very crucial part in my life and for my career. Television is where I saw my first cartoon, my first movie, and my first series, so it can never be replaced with any mode of entertainment. This is the platform that I started my career with and it has only made me who I am today."

She added that, "Earlier, there were days when we had only television as a mode of entertainment and watching great daily soaps and movies on television is the only reason, I considered acting in the first place. I am indeed a proud television actor."
