Work is important, but so is family: Ssudeep Sahir

Ssudeep Sahir, who made girls skip a beat with his music video “Channa Ve”, feels it’s essential to maintain a work-life balance. The actor has spent over two decades in the industry and stresses that family time is important and tries to take a day off every week for. 

Work is important, but so is family. Money will come, but this time will never come back and I 100% believe in this. I try to take a day off every week so that I can spend that day with my wife and son because on a normal day of shooting, you go early, and by the time you come back, it’s late

“I make sure I take mini breaks. It could be just a couple of days off, but it’s important to spend that time with family. When the show wraps up, I just take off with my family for a month-long break,” he added. 

The actor is quite active on social media and keeps his fans entertained with his posts and videos. He feels the platform has become a crucial part of the industry. 

“It’s great to connect with the fans via live sessions. Also, I especially love the fan-made edits. They are so creative and unique. I try to be active on Instagram as much as I can, but honestly, I’m not very good at it,” he said.

The actor has done quite a number of hit TV shows, and now wishes to do something out of the box. He said, “In the future I just wish to do some good work and aspire to play a character which I haven’t played before. I definitely want to play a twisted character with shades of grey.“

He also asserted that the entertainment industry has evolved and has now made its mark on the global platform. He feels it is very encouraging, and added, “I feel in the future more promising content will be on the rise. Barriers of regional films/shows are also breaking, as more people are able to view the content made. I hope that such growth continues and in the future more and more people can view our hard work,” Ssudeep ended.
