Today is certainly not any less auspicious than any festival ever. However, celebrating women and their divinity, sacrifice and perseverance should not be limited to one day, right?
Tagging one particular day to be Women's Day is a reminder that you have to keep respecting women and that their plight of living in a Man's World' isn't getting any better.
When it comes to TV Celebrities, several women do not cease to be expressive and openly voice out their opinions on feminism, sexism and women empowerment. Here, we list down the women who were bold enough to express their thoughts and support the right cause.

The actress has been controversy's favourite baby in recent times. Several issues and controversies have surrounded Nia for the right and wrong reasons. While, one may or may not agree with her expression, the actress was applauded by many when she gave the perfect answer on being slut shamed. The actress' images from one of her photoshoots caught the eye of many and she ended up receiving a lot of backlash on the same. However, the actress shut everyone up with her epic reply.

Barely a couple of days ago, we reported about what actress
Nikita Dutta feels about women being stereotyped. There could not have been a
better occasion than Women's Day for this to be expressed. The categorical
treatment of women is something that has been ignored and Nikita made a valid point when she shared a particular quote mentioning about addressing women as
women and not as our 'wives and daughters.' Bang on!

The ex 'Bigg Boss 8' contestant, Diandra Soares was in the news yesterday for how she joined the bandwagon of celebs who have fearlessly expressed their opinions. The actress gave a strong reply to haters and slut shamers through her instagram account, where she posted a 'bold' picture which had several factors that would rather be considered a taboo. Her answer was applauded by all and of course, also invited some negativity.

Giving her take on the eve of Women's Day, Niyati Fatnani
highlighted about how we are in the twentieth century and a 'Special Day' is
not really a necessity for celebrating women. While, several issues have
already been covered, the actress had an interesting take on how financial independence
is also importance for women and they should work towards achieving this goal.
Ridhi Dogra Vashisth

While we talk about women standing up for being slut shamed
or stereotyped, the criteria of gender discrimination is often ignored. And
actress Ridhi Dogra recently gave a strong reminder to everyone out there
about how a woman is also a person.' Men looking at women as a woman/girl/lady
and not as a person are nothing but people who encourage discrimination',the actress posted. This
factor is often not paid attention to and Ridhi reminded everyone with her 'RaiseHerWild' campaign throwback.

The actress already broke several stereotypes in absolute style with her portrayal of Maya in Sony TV's 'Beyhadh.' Not being the vulnerable or sympathetic girl who keeps enduring pain and sacrifice just because she is a woman, Jennifer is slaying the character of Maya and reminding everyone that TV is not limited to quintessential saas-bahu sagas. Apart from that, in a recent interaction, Jennifer also highlighted the fact that the celebration of women shouldn't be limited to one day and how it's great to see several women these days conquer the world by their portrayal and push limits to shine through all.
On this eve of Women's Day, we raise our voice and would like to give a reminder to one and all out there that women are the pillars of the foundation called 'Life' and respecting them is not an option but a compulsion.
