Woah! This 'Kya Haal..' actor takes 4 HOURS to get ready for the shot

Well, not stereotyping, but actresses taking a long time for getting ready isn't something new, and understandably so. But, it is rare that we come across stories about how a male actor takes hours to get ready.

But, here too, we have a valid reason actually. We are talking about actor Maninder Singh, who is playing the character of Kanhaiya in Star Bharat's Kya Haal Mr Panchaal. 

As known, in the on going track the actor had to wear body suit to make his character look hefty. And to get that look, the actor used to take 4 hours to get ready. Not only that, due to the heavy body suit, the actor was on a liquid diet for almost 10 hours.

We contacted Maninder Singh who told us,"Yeah. It was very difficult but exciting for as an actor. It was also quite a challenging. It was a 9kg body suit and I was on a liquid diet for 10 hrs. It took 4 hours to get ready and approximately two hours to remove the make up. But I had an awesome time shooting for it. It is satisfying for an actor to do such stuff."
