Television has seen a major content revolution in the last 2-3 years. Saas-Bahu sagas have been overthrown by fast paced thrillers and supernatural thrillers and social issues based shows also created an audience for themselves.
Also, these past few years also saw a steady rise in finite shows and the concept was received well by both the makers, the actors and viewers too.
However, this new change in content has also ad its lows, with a few old shows being pulled off air, due to their lack of TRPs.
And while we have already reported about all the shows that will be going off-air, here are a few of them with their off-air details, as per Bombay Times.
Starting with Star Plus, after dodging plenty' of off-air rumours for almost a year now, Ishqbaaaz will shut shop sometime in the first week of November. The show became quite popular for its triple pairing of Nakuul Mehta-Surbhi Chandna, Kunal Jaisingh-Shrenu Parikh and Leenesh Mattoo-Mansi Srivastava.
Another of the channel priced show Yeh Hai Mohabbatein which stars Divyanka Tripathi and Karan Patel in the lead roles, will be pulled off air after the consistent dipping of its numbers in the past few months. After an immensely successful run of 5 years, the makers will shut Ishita and Raman's story at the end of this year. Next up on Star Plus' of air list of shows is Mariam Khan Reporting Live, which will go off air in December.
Colors' shows, Udaan will be the first to bid goodbye to the viewers after a run of 4 years. The show which is based on the issue of bandhua' or bonded labour, will go off air at the end of this month and the Shaheer Sheikh-Sonarika Bhadoria historical Dastaan-Mohabbat: Saleem Anarkali. Joining the list also will be Tu Aashiqui. Launched in September 2017, the show did enter the Top 10 TRP list once or twice, but will now go off air in October.
Star Bharat's Saam Daam Dand Bhed was one show on the channel that grabbed quite a lot of attention. The politically based show received quite the accolades for its concept and performances, but they dwindled with passing time and now, the show will end in October, making way for RadhaKrishn.
Well, and now we eagerly await the replacements of these shows.

Ye saalo tak chale wale shows wahi sab kuch repeat krte rehte hai, aur audience ko torture karte rehte hai. Kisi bhi channels walo ko kisi bhi show ko 1-2 saal se jyada chalne hi nahi dena chahiye. I hope ki sare channels apne apne purane shows ko khatm kar de.

Ishqbaaz and yhm have lost their touch but Miriam khan just started. It is great with a lot of potential as long as they dont have the leap yet. I will definitely miss that one. Very disappointed

sp knew that if they keep yhm at 7.30 pm they wont b able to end the show anytime since it was in top 5.So to end it they needed a reason and shifted to 10.30 pm with the most stupid twist. Now their aim is fulfilled.sp happy.Ekta can save budget and can build new statues with that.

I've been saying for a while now that they should pull the plug on Ishqbaaz. It's time!! Hallejulah! I wouldn't be too sad about YHM to be honest, it's draining now. However, Mariam Khan has a lot of potential. Work on it Star plus.

Udaan achieved super success and i am proud of the show and the full team. The show, Suraj , Chakor and Sukor will always be a part of my me. wishing the cast and crew all the best for upcoming projects.

Yeh hai mohabbatein deserves to stay, it still has lot of potential in it. It is the changing time slot and non-sacking of Creative writers who is writing bull shit are the reasons to be blamed for the show to reach this point.

Well looks like Naamkarann's former PH that gave them such step treatment has been hit by Karma. Both their shows are going off air. I have nothing against the actors but when you dont even send a cake to the team on their last day of shoot, such disgusting Producers should go down and that's why both theirs shows have hit the dust. They even took a flop like Tu Ashaqui to London? Anyways, all wish the actors good luck in their future projects!

Will miss Udaan and Sukor Biased Colors, didn't give the leap a chance and kept worse performing shows. They could've move Udaan to 7:00 or 10:00 pm.
