With Param’s entry, the dynamics of the characters have changed: Siddhaanth Vir of Ziddi Dil - Maane Na

In the previous episodes of Sony SAB’s show ‘Ziddi Dil - Maane Na’, Sanju (Diljot Chhabra) finds her way into a room and comes across a man who is trapped in Charu’s captivity for a long time. Scared, isolated and jolted to the core, it is soon revealed that the man is none other than Param, Karan’s older brother who was apparently martyred years ago.

In a candid chat, actor Siddhaanth Vir who plays the character of Param in the show talks about his character, upcoming twists and more. Read on the interview below.

How does it feel to be associated with Sony SAB's Ziddi Dil Maane Na?

I am elated to be a part of Sony SAB and Ziddi Dil - Maane Na. The concept of the show is set on a premise which is very intriguing to me. There are hardly any shows being made on patriotism and how the young generation dedicates their lives for the country. The show also has a clean messaging and that’s one of the best things about Sony SAB. I am very excited to be playing the role of Param Shergill in Ziddi Dil Maane na. The cast and crew is young and full of energy, and with Param’s entry a lot of dynamic will change so the audience should definitely look out for that.

Please tell us something about your character. What should the audience look forward to with your entry on the show?

Param’s entry brings a lot of twists and turns. The character has brought in a lot of excitement and hope into the show. There are major plot twists coming along and the audience are in for a shocker. Param also brings out a lot of raw emotions and unexpected moments and that is exactly what has motivated me to be a part of the show.  I can’t reveal too much about the storyline, but it will be a banger.

I have been showered with responses, love and warmth from the fans on social media and more even before the character has been revealed. As an actor I feel this show has a unique and young fan base, I am thrilled to see their enthusiasm and it makes me want to give it my best.

The character of Param Shergill is pivotal to the plot. He is the one Karan has always looked up to and now Param has to choose between his morals and greed. The track evolves around Param dealing with his trauma and coming back to the academy and whether or not he stays true to his principles. 

How was your experience shooting with the cast and crew of the show?

The experience with the cast and crew has been amazing. It's a young cast and crew, very welcoming and warm. They made me feel at home from the first day itself. They are a close-knit group and have been bonding very well through the shoots which keeps everyone on set positive, energetic and fun. They made me feel very welcome

You are back on television after a long time, how does it feel to be back on the silver screen?

I have not taken a very long break. My last show ended in November. So I haven't taken a very long break but it was a much needed one to re-energise and dedicate some attention and time to family as well as I took up some household responsibility. I made most of the free time I got as a daily screen actor, I am very glad I am coming back as Param Shergill in Ziddi Dil - Maane Na in the character I will be playing as my come back on sets

The audience can expect a lot of twists and turns.
