Will never impose my upbringing on her: Priyanka Chopra on her baby girl

Priyanka Chopra is currently enjoying motherhood, and she recently spoke about her newborn baby for the first time. In January, the actress welcomed her first child with husband Nick Jonas via surrogacy.

While Priyanka is yet to reveal her kid's photos to her fans and followers, she recently spoke about her for the first time.

The actress stated that she will never push her goals, anxieties, or upbringing on her kid, when asked about her opinions on parenting and what type of a mother she wants to be.

PeeCee further said,

"I've always felt that children come into your life through you rather than from you. There is no such notion as "this is my child, and I will mould everything." They come to you in order to find and construct their own life. My parents were really nonjudgmental in a manner because they saw how much it helped me."

Priyanka has kept her daughter's identity a secret since she gave birth to her. In fact, she is yet to tell her Indian relatives about her child. Madhu Chopra, who is yet to see her granddaughter owing to health and COVID-19 issues, recently revealed to the press that the baby is yet to be named.

She told a leading news portal, expressing her joy at having a grandchild.

"I haven't seen my granddaughter, I'm in New York, and she's in Los Angeles. Every now and again, we'll Facetime. I believe she is content and joyful. For the time being, that's all I have to say. But maybe when I go and meet her in the middle of the year, I will be able to answer this better."

On the work front, Priyanka Chopra will next be seen in Text For You and the web series, Citadel. She has also signed Ending Things opposite Anthony Mackie. In Bollywood, Priyanka Chopra has Farhan Akhtar's Jee Le Zaraa opposite Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt.
