Why Randeep Rai got replaced from 'Diya Aur Bati Hum'?

With happy times back on Shashi Sumeet Mittal's popular show 'Diya Aur Baati Hum', new characters are making their way into the show to bring forth new changes in the track.

While we have already reported about Kunal Khosla entering the show as Chhotu and Prachi Tehlan entering the show as his love interest. We wondered why actor Randeep Rai, who was earlier roped in for essaying the role of grown up Chhotu post the leap got replaced from the show.

Our source informs, "It was completely the creative team's decision. The replacement was done as things didn't work out well. The makers wanted someone who looked a little older in age, to play this character."

When we spoke to Randeep, he said, "I actually don't have any idea about my abrupt ending from the show. It was a very good production house and the team is very good to work with. Its been a nice experience working with them and I had good relations and bond with everyone in the team. I am looking forward to work with them."

'Diya Aur Baati Hum' is all set to bring forth a new track, making way for some more entries on the show.
