Dashing actor Namish Taneja is making girls go weak in the knees with his brilliant performance in Colors' Swaragini

Recently, his onscreen character Laksh found himself in trouble, because he took up a smuggling assignment to earn quick money to save his parents Durgaprasad (Nagesh Salwan) and Annapurna (Shalini Kapoor Sagar).

The actor, who is playing a devoted son in the show is a caring pet owner in real life. He used to feed two puppies, while he was shooting for his last show 'Ekk Nayi Pehchaan'. Unfortunately, one of the puppies died in a tragic accident and the mother dog was killed by a leopard, so he decided to adopt the second one and named him Whiskey.

"Whiskey is a real stress buster for me, after the hectic shooting schedule, when I reach home, a warm hug from him makes me feel relaxed. He is adorable, fun loving dog and loves to play and go out for a walk. But because of the pouring rain we literally have to wait for hours for the rains to stop so that we can take him out on a stroll. During the monsoons, it's not always possible to take him for long walks, so usually, to keep him fresh and active, I make him climb up the stairs," says the actor.
