Whichever character I play on television becomes my favorite - Alka Amin

Alka is quite excited to play a grey shaded character on screen. Telling us about the same, she says, "The best part of this character is that I don't relate to it. So, when an actor gets an opportunity to essay a role which is completely different from her real personality it becomes very interesting for her. I have observed such kind of characters to improvise in the character that I play."

When asked to pick one favorite  character of from her shows, she says, "It is difficult to answer this question. I cannot pick one favorite character from the shows I have done. Whichever character I play on television becomes my favorite because I put in lot of efforts to make it look realistic."

Sharing her happiness to be a part of Balaji camp she says, "Its amazing. When I shifted to Mumbai, my first show was with Balaji. Its not a joke to do five different shows with the same production house. I am really comfortable working with Balaji, I trust the entire team of Balaji."

Talking about her previous show Ajeeb Dastaan Hai Ye and the trend of finite series she says, "I feel the step taken towards bringing finite series on television is appreciable.The actor has a clear idea about the time he is going to invest in a particular show which helps them to perform better. Also the audience gets a chance to watch different things on television. I enjoyed being a part of Ajeeb Dastaan Hai Ye which was a finite series of limited episodes. Over the time we became like a family. Sonali Bendre, is a good human being, you can improvise with her while doing scenes. Being a big star she doesn't carry attitude with her."
