When Pratyusha's birthday surprise plans for Shashank Vyas failed!

The very good looking actor Shashank Vyas who plays Jagya in Sphere Origins' popular show Balika Vadhu has turned a year older today. Last night his former co-star and best friend Pratyusha Banerjee took extra efforts to ring in birthday at mid-night. 

However, both of them could not meet and Shashank talks to TellyBuzz as to how he was touched by Pratyusha Banerjee's efforts to surprise him on his birthday.

Our source says, "Last night Pratyusha went to Shashank's home to give him a surprise but he wasn't there at his house. After finding the door locked, she called up some of his friends to query about his whereabouts. Later, she came to know that he is watching the movie Bullet Raja in a multiplex with his friends and his phone was switched off. She went to the multiplex and after getting an entry to the theatre, she started searching for Shashank but she couldn't find him due to darkness inside the theatre. After getting tired of searching him, she again went to Shashank's house then left the cake at the door with 'Idiot' written on a note."

The source further adds, "Shashank was really touched by her gesture and her efforts to make him feel special on a night before his birthday."

When contacted Shashank, initially he was a little surprised to know that we are aware of this incident and then said, "Pratyusha is a nice person. I really felt sorry that she made so much effort but my phone was switched off in the theatre so she couldn't reach me. I am sorry Pratyusha and I am really touched by your efforts of giving me a surprise."

The birthday boy is now on his way to Shirdi to seek blessings of Sai Baba on his birthday. TellyBuzz wishes Shashank a very happy birthday and a wonderful year ahead.
