India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi, shook the nation a week ago when he announced that Rs 500 and Rs 1000 notes are now defunct as a measure to curb black money flow in our country.
While this decision has been applauded and given almost unanimous support by everyone, it has also caused a lot of discomfort when it comes to day-to-day bank activities.
In the past few days, there have been immensely long queues, where people have waited for hours and hours in scorching heat outside a bank to get their notes exchanged and money deposited/withdrawn.
Also, there were images of how several Sikhs took the initiative to give refreshments to these people who have been standing in those queues for long hours.
And it seems, that has inspired actor Karanvir Bohra, currently seen in 'Naagin 2' to a great extent. The actor took the initiative to go with his mother-father to the bank where there has been a long queue. And he took some refreshments with himself and distributed the same to everyone-

We tried contacting Karanvir, however, he remained unavailable.
Kudos to Karanvir and everyone else for doing such a noble and an selfless deed..!
