Chandni Sharma on Jhanak being the ‘real villain’ of show: ‘Shadishuda insan se pyaar..’

Chandni Sharma, who essays the character of Arshi in Star Plus' Jhanak, recently got in an exclusive chat with India Forums and revealed how Arshi's hatred towards Jhanak is justified. Chandni earlier told us that whenever people question her on justifying her character, she tells them that they too should have a 'Jhanak' in their life.

Further speaking about her thoughts on not Arshi but Jhanak being the actual villain of the story, Chandni says, ''No, I do not think that Jhanak is the villain of the show. But if Arshi is wrong, Anirudh and Jhanak are equally at fault too. Shayad Jhanak ko samajh nahi aaya ke kab usey pyaar ho gaya and we all know how love is, ho jata hai, sari samajh k upar, it just happens. But then we should know our limits right? Agar aapko kisi shadishuda insaan se pyaar ho jaye and if you are acting on it then it is absolutely wrong. Agar aap apne emotions control nahi kar sakte then what is the difference between a bitch/dog and you? The moment you know that someone is married or committed, you should take a step back. That cannot be justified. Having said that, I do not agree with Jhanak being the villain but like I said, she and Anirudh are as wrong as Arshi is.''

Earlier speaking to us about being 'cheated' like her character Arshi, Chandni, affirming the same said, ''Yes, Of course I have been cheated on. I have never seen mature relationships to be honest. But as women, we do tend to forgive right? It is your call though, I mean, what I really believe in is that if the guy is genuinely sorry about his actions then you should give him a chance and forgive him but if he thinks he has done nothing wrong and you do not see that guilt in his actions, then you should never forgive. Par agar aap ko lagta hai ke wo companion acha hai, to maaf kar dena chaiye.''
