If I was not an actor I would surely have been a Fashion Designer. I had pursued  a course from Symbiosis in Fashion Designing.

Is anyone from your family into this profession?
No, no one from my family is into the field. I was going to be the first one to get into Fashion Designing but I am the first one in the Telly industry. I belong from a service class family.

Would you change your career from Acting to Fashion Designing?

I actually don't know because I love both the fields. However I  wouldn't because I was unable to complete my course into Fashion Designing.

It just happened maybe because it had to happen. One fine day, I went to college and Balaji auditions were going on. I was not interested at all but just for time pass I along with my friends went for it I went through the first audition after which I had to go to Mumbai from Pune. I just went to Mumbai to shop because even then I was not serious. But as I said acting had to happen and that's how I got my first show 'Kis Desh Mai Hai Mera Dil'.
