TellyBuzz's What If had an interesting chat with Barun Sobti aka the rude and heartless Arnav Singh Raizada of Star Plus' Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon?
We found out that where how much Arnav Singh Raizada knows what he wants in future, Barun Sobti is quite different from him.
You are sure to have an interesting read this time...

What If...

"I seriously do not know what I would have done had I not become an actor because I know how restless I am in life.
When I was in school, everyone in my class was really intelligent, and looking at them it made me realize that I am going to have the most disastrous future. But I was really good in sports and used to love soccer. But I knew soccer has no good future in India. There was a time when I had even played cricket for Clubs where I played for West Delhi and during those days Karan Wahi was playing for Sonnet.
As time went on, I knew I could not become an engineer and becoming a doctor was beyond dreams. Had I become a doctor I would have made a pathetic one.
Before I got into acting I was the Collections Manager in a call center and I used to earn a decent living there. But all my friends said I look good and should try my hands in acting and Karan was among them. In fact Karan Wahi, Priyanka Bassi and my wife studied together.
So I thought I should give it a shot and I must say that it was a great risk that has paid off. Even my mother had said that not everyone can become Shah Rukh Khan. But after seeing their son jumping from one job to another, and doing well in everything that I took up, their confidence level was pretty high. Even my wife has the confidence in me.
Today I would like to say that you guys should take what you believe in. If you like acting, take it up especially if you believe in your potential and not just because it might make you happy."
