What happened when Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat won the Best Parivaar Award?

When COLORS' magnum opus 'Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat' was awarded the Best Parivaar award, the super excited cast of the show made their way to the stage to receive the award.

Although Manoj Joshi, who played Chanakya on the show, used to be an integral part of the show, he seemed reluctant to receive this award.

The veteran actor who has a long drawn out relationship with the character of Chanakya was seen in his Chanakya avatar too!

With Manoj Joshi having made an ample amount of contribution to the show, the cast who is evidently fond of Manoj Joshi, wanted him to receive the award along with them.

It was only after a lot of coaxing and convincing on the part of his Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat family that he finally got up and ascended upon the stage and received the trophy from actor Vivian Dsena.
