Wearing a mike all the time in Bigg Boss house is difficult; Shamita or Umar should win BB15: Akanksha Puri

Bigg Boss 15 witnessed fake challengers enter the house for a day full of tasks, fun, and some more. Entering the house as challengers were Surbhi Chandna, Munmum Dutta, Akanksha Puri, and Vishal Singh.

India Forums got in touch with Akanksha Puri and in a candid chat with us, Puri opened up on her thoughts on entering the show as a challenger. The actress said, “Well, I guess the contestants were somewhere down the line not pushing the envelope and being competitive and that’s why we entered the show as challengers and I’m glad that we are able to shake-up the contestants and revive their competitive spirit. I must say, the contestants gave more than their hundred percent and performed every task brilliantly. We were feeling guilty for the amount of trouble we caused to them, but eventually, it did serve the purpose as we finally got the TOP 5 finale contestants”.

Talking about her experience being a part of the show, Akanksha said, "I now feel it's easy said then done. Aise bahaar se baatein karna bahot aasaan hai magar waha andar rehna kaafi difficult hai. In the span of 24 hours, I wasn't able to carry the mike properly. I feel, if I be a part of the show as a contestant, I will be scolded the most for not wearing mike properly (laughs)".

Talking about the big spat between Rakhi and Shamita, Puri said, “I feel Rakhi should be given a permenant spot in the show. She is extremely skilled and she knows exactly what the show requires. Having said that, I support Shamita as she is very real. Be it right or wrong, she never shies away in putting across her opinion. I find her unfiltered and that’s the reason why I really like her as a viewer”.

Akanksha’s name has been coming in the speculated list for more than two years now, when asked about the same, the actress said, “I’m very sure to enter the show from the very beginning. Once, I got the offer as a wild-card entrant which I had to put down. The next time when they offered me, I was having date issues and thus had to skip. Let’s see if things work out, you might see me in the show”.

Talking about love angles in the house, Akanksha said, “I have noticed that the relationships that people make in the Bigg Boss house often materializes in the outside world as well and people tend to carry forward the same in the real world, so, It’s pretty cool”.

We asked the gorgeous actress about her TOP 2 favorite contestants, she quipped, “Shamita and Umar. I really like how honestly they’ve been playing the game and I also like their respective journies. Nishant and Pratik are also in my favorite list”.
