Wamiqa Gabbi Responds as Queen of "Chills" to Influencer's PR Remarks and Comparisons to Aishwarya Rai

Actor Wamiqa Gabbi recently responded sharply to social media influencer Nadeesh Bhambi after a video he posted stirred up controversy regarding her PR strategy. The video, which quickly gained traction on Instagram, compared Wamiqa to Bollywood icon Aishwarya Rai, among other actresses. Nadeesh’s video was titled "Wamiqa Gabbi’s PR Team Meeting," where he humorously speculated on her PR team's decisions.

The video starts with Nadeesh calling Wamiqa "beautiful and talented," and it soon escalates with his comments about her growing popularity. He jokingly referred to her as the “new national crush” and even brought Aishwarya Rai into the conversation, saying, “If Aishwarya had a daughter, she would look like Wamiqa.” His playful banter didn’t stop there—he exaggerated Wamiqa's beauty, claiming she could "eat 100 Rashmika (Mandanna) and 200 Disha (Patani) for breakfast" and poked fun at Deepika Padukone’s perceived looks. The influencer's video was filled with over-the-top remarks that seemed to poke fun at the actress’s PR efforts.

Wamiqa, not one to shy away from such criticism, took to Instagram to respond. She replied with sarcasm, saying, “Talented aur Khoobsurat bhi? Uff, Thaaaank you. And baki sab ka pata nahi but we did try ‘Wamiqa for next President!’ approve nahi hua." This remark clearly showed her displeasure, while also maintaining a lighthearted tone in her reply.

In response, Nadeesh advised Wamiqa to "ask her PR team to chill," suggesting that their strategy was harming her image. He wrote, “Talented aur khoobsurat toh aap ho hi. Loved you in Jubilee. President ke liye vote nahi hota iss desh mein warna mera vote toh mil hi jaata aapko... Bas aapki PR team ko thoda chill karao.” His comments seemed to hint that the influencer felt Wamiqa’s PR team was going overboard in promoting her.

The banter between the two ended on a more poetic note, with both posting shayari to wrap up the exchange. Wamiqa, known for her candidness, recently starred in Baby John, where she shared the screen with Varun Dhawan, Keerthy Suresh, and Jackie Shroff. The movie, however, struggled at the box office, despite being directed by Kalees and produced by Atlee. Wamiqa is now focused on her upcoming film Bhooth Bangla, which also features Akshay Kumar and Tabu.
