"Wajah Tum Ho collections were affected by Demonization" - Debina Bonnerjee

Narendra Modi's decision to demonetise the currency created plenty of clamor in the country and one of the mainstream business to get affected by this is the Film industry. 

One of the movies which released at the peak of the national announcement was Wajah Tum Ho, featuring Gurmeet Choudhary and Sana Khan. While one may have many opinions to reason out why the film did not fare too well, Gurmeet's wife Debina blames demonization for the vanishing crowd rush outside the movie theater for the movie. 

But in the midst of critics bashing 'Wajah Tum Ho' for a lazy storyline and poor performances by the cast, Debina's loyalties lie with her husband for obvious reasons and feels it is Modi's bold step that affected the fate of the movie.

Debina said, "The sudden demonetization did affect those who depend solely on cash for meeting day to day expenses and that is the reason why Wajah Tum Ho did not fare well."

What we do not forget to notice here is the release date of Wajah Tum Ho was delayed so that the ill-effect of demonization does not affect the movie's success!
