Vrushika Mehta Opens up on her D3 Days and Equation with Shantanu!

We at India Forums got in touch with Actress Vrushika Mehta who spoke to us about spending her time in quarantine, memories from the sets of D3, working with Shantanu Maheshwari and much more...

Speaking about spending her time in quarantine, she shared, “I am fine, I am a little bored but I am learning new stuff. I recently learnt to make round rotis, I am working out and listening to old songs, watching ‘Friends’ all over again and yes, just chilling.”

Vrushika added, “I have started painting stuff again, that is the thing that I am doing after years. I am just trying to catch up and I’ll post a picture soon on my Instagram.”

When asked about her most memorable prank from the sets of Dil Dosti Dance (D3), she shared, “There are so many pranks. I remember we had gone for the Manor trip, I was sharing the room with Sneha Gupta, who was playing the role of Aashi. They pranked on her that there is a ghost and all. First they were planning to prank me but then they thought that I’ll get sick, so they pranked her. There are so many pranks because we were all of the same age so yes, we used to have a lot of fun both on-screen and off-screen.”

She was asked if as Avishika (Avinash and Vrushika), will she like to do a new show or a web show again, she said, “Yes, definitely, in a new avtaar. Avinash and Vrushika in a new avtaar. We would definitely like to try something new. I think it should be a web show which has to be a cute romantic story or something with suspense.”

When asked what's the biggest change she has found in herself after working in the industry for so long, she shared, “I have become a bit mature because before I didn’t know what I was doing in life. I never planned on becoming an actor, I always wanted to do something which was connected to dance, it just happened. I just feel that right now I am handling situations not in a very good manner, but yes, there is improvement.”

She was asked if she’ll do a music video or a dance collaboration with Shantanu. To this, she said, “We have done one music video, if Shantanu will teach me dance, then I will do it.” She also reminisced about her D3 days and her equation with Shantanu and said, “He was very caring. I still remember we went to Hyberabad, he was very protective also.”

Vrushika and Shantanu were loved by the fans as Sharon and Swayam. When asked about their chemistry, she shared, “We used to rehearse the scenes before and I have learnt a lot from Shantanu. Palki Ma’am always used to be there. I don’t know how the chemistry happened. The thing is that I didn’t think much.”

When asked if she would like to do any music videos or web shows, she said, “I want to do Punjabi music videos. Web shows yes, I did a web show, amazing experience. I cannot do khatron ke khiladi, Jhalak Dikhla Ja yes for sure and Bigg Boss, not my thing.”
