Sirf Tum will narrate the story of two people, who are completely opposites - Suhani, played by Eisha Singh and Ranveer, played by Vivian Dsena. Though they meet by fate, what leads to their love story is a rather interesting watch and going by the looks of it, many believe that it is inspired by Kabir Singh given the similarities in the premise.

When India Forums quizzed Vivian about the same, he told us, ''It is very easy to judge something without seeing it because you see a glimpse of it and you have to make a perception. As far as the show is concerned, just because in the recent times, a medical college love story you've seen is Kabir Singh, so the closest you find to explain this show is Kabir Singh, but it is not.''

He adds, ''Because then, we wouldn't be paying attention to such minute details of all the characters, of the complete approach with which we are making the show, we just had to copy it then, so why are we using our energy to approach it like that. As far as comparisons are concerned, you cant compare it because it is a 2 and a half to 3 hours film, but we telecast approx. 24-26 times a month, that makes it a 15 hour film every month, so you cannot stretch a film of 2 and a half hours for years.''

We also asked him what does he feel is difficult about the character. He said, ''I have never played a college boy, especially one with a medical background. I have done so earlier, but I was 200 years old there because I was a vampire. This is the first time I am playing such a character and it is a lot of hard work because I am not from a medical stream. There is a lot of learning that has to happen during the process plus I have also had to undergo physical transformation to look my part.''

The show airs its first episode today on Colors.

He doesn't look convincing to the character. College boy? Seriously? There are so many actors who would had suited more. It's a copy of other old lovestory scripts.
