Vivek Mushran shoots barefoot for 'Ek Aastha Aisi Bhee'

Actor Vivek Mushran says he shoots barefoot on the sets of his upcoming TV show Ek Aastha Aisi Bhee.

The Star Plus show revolves around a young and selfless girl Aastha, who believes in serving humanity over rituals of God.

Vivek will be seen as Govind Agrawal, a progressive husband and a rooted man.

"The main set has a temple within the house of Agarwal family which is huge and a 'diya' is lit every morning whether we are shooting or not," Vivek said in a statement.

"Given that most scenes are in the surrounding, as a sign of respect, I shoot barefoot on the sets of the show. You will never see me wear my footwear during any of my scenes," he added.

Actress Tina Philip will be seen as Aastha in the show.

Ek Aastha Aisi Bhee will also feature Mansi Salvi and Kanwar Dhillon.

The show will be aired on Star Plus from April 3 onwards.
