Vivana Singh of 'Kumkum Bhagya' fame bags 'Shrikant Bashir'

SonyLIV as a streaming service has only launched this year and it wouldn't be unfair to say that it has already emerged as one of the biggest launches where some of the best web shows this year have come out of the service. The likes of JL50, Avrodh, A Simple Murder, Ram Singh Charlie, Bhonsle and of course, the still massively successful Scam 1992 - The Harshad Mehta Story are the ones creating a rage.

Now, the streaming service has another show coming in called Shrikant Bashir.

Produced by Salman Khan Television (SKTV) and Banijay Asia, it is a high-octane, action-packed drama surrounding two police officers, Shrikant and Bashir, as they race against time to save Mumbai from a COVID-like virus. The series currently stars  Rohit Chaudhary, Ashmita Jaggi, Kunal Pant, Pooja Gor, and Yuddhisthir Singh in important roles. Now latest reports suggest that actor Vivana Singh, who is best known for her role in Kumkum Bhagya has been roped in for an important role. Singh is said to be playing the role of a negative female lead named Shalini Kaura in the show.

The show will be premiering on 11th December 2020.
