Vishal Vashishtha in Colors TV's Vish: A poisonous story

Actor Vishal Vashishtha who rose to fame with Star Plus’ Ek Veer Ki Ardaas...Veera is currently preparing for his upcoming show Vish: A Poisonous Story that will air on Colors TV. The actor has received tremendous appreciation and accolades for his powerful performances in Gangaa, Jaat Ki Jugni and Jai Kanhaiya Lal Ki. He will be essaying the role of Aditya Vir Kothari.

We got in touch with Vishal who revealed several aspects of his character in the show. He said, “I am playing the character of Aditya Vir Kothari in the show and he is a brash character because he is been brought up in this way. His parents were not around when he was growing up and there is a lot of money in the family, he is a spendthrift. He has very few people close to him with whom he really talks and hardly any people he behaves nicely.”

“Because of the insecurity in growing years, having no parents around to guide him to a better lifestyle, he has grown up in a certain way and does not easily trust anyone. He has a brother whom he really loves and has a different side when it comes to dealing with him. Otherwise, any person questioning his actions, doubting his intentions he goes all out and bashes them badly. Aditya is happy but he has chosen this lifestyle for himself,” adds Vishal.

Vashishtha revealed, “The most interesting thing that I find in the story is that the four main characters in the show, namely, Aditya, Aliya, Sabrina and Vishaila are individually very strong and they are forming their own worlds individually. Like Aliya has her own world may be full of kind people and professionals who empathize with others. Aditya’s world includes rich brats, parties, models whereas Vishaila and Sabrina, on the other hand, come from the fantasy world."

Supernatural shows are in the fad, expressing his views on this statement, Vishal said, “Well, supernatural actually has clicked with the Indian audience. I haven’t worked in supernatural shows before and this is my first time so when this was pitched to me, I was like why not? Because it’s going good on TV and if I am doing TV then might as well do something that is trending and which has a better probability to succeed… So Vish happened and fortunately, the show’s theme is also damn cool, it's dark, it's eerie. The characters are more realistic than the other shows that I have done and my character has space to say things that are not in the script. I can mould my character because the character is such… It is fun.”

Vishal had a message for his fans, he concluded, “My fans have always supported me from day one, they have supported my decisions, they have supported my characters and this is something new which I am trying. Now more than ever I need their support for this new venture and new genre. I hope they like it, it’s going to be experimenting for me as well as fans and for viewers who will watch this show and hope we all can make each other happy and when we go back home we are happy.”

Vish: A Poisonous Story will feature Debina Bonnerjee, Sana Makbul and Krrip Kapur Suri along with Vishal Vashishtha in the lead roles. The show is all set to launch on the 10th of June, 2019 at 10:30 PM and will replace Adaa Khan’s Sitara: Vish Ya Amrit.

We wish Vishal and the entire team, immense luck and success for this new venture.
