Set in the back drop of Surajgarh, a town in Rajasthan, Sitara is the tale of a vishkanya and her daughter. With an interesting start, Sitara binds the audience with a little mystery from the very beginning. Adaa Khan sees a woman with a covered face (her own self) gets buried in the middle of nowhere, amongst the sand dunes of Rajasthan.
Adaa Khan playing the role of Sitara couldn't bear the sight of being buried and she runs to save herself but then.. She gets startled and wakes up to the reality. Running towards her father, she shares her scared feeling with him and calls him her world.
The story develops slowly and all the characters get introduced. The story is woven neatly and Sitara watches the characters unfold with her own eyes. She fantasizes the life of Rajwadas and says that she too wants to see all the royalty. Her father nudges her away from the thought and says that it is a life of hoax.
The royal family gets introduced with all elan. And it seems there is an undeclared war between the royal family and vishkanyas. Shilpa Saklani's entry has still been reserved for today's episode.
The show looks promising and the story line might be something different for the audience too. It's great to see Adaa Khan in a positive light for a change. The role suits her well and the story line seems to be well written.
We think the show will take a good start as the story is keeping the interest hooked. Hope it keeps up the mystery. For us it is a Thumbs Up till now. Do let us know what you think about the show. A Yay or a Nay?
