In a recent interview, Vijay candidly spoke about the familial pressure regarding his marriage plans. Being a Marwari, the expectations of marriage were a topic of discussion from a young age for Vijay. However, his passion for acting and dedication to his craft took precedence, leading him to focus solely on building his career.

Quoting DNA, he said, 

“I am a Marwari. In our community, boys are considered of a marriage-able age at 16. So, all this began very early with me and also ended very early because I went past the marriageable age. On top of that, I had become an actor by then so there was that too.”

The actor added that, “My mother still asks me. On every phone call she still asks me but I am just able to dodge it because I am doing well in my life.”

Speaking of personal life, the love between Vijay Varma and Tamannaah Bhatia became the talk of the town after a video surfaced of them allegedly kissing at a party in Goa. 

In a candid conversation with Film Companion, Tamannaah Bhatia opened up about her feelings for Vijay, calling him her happy place and expressing her deep care for him. Confirming that they began dating during the filming of Lust Stories 2, the actress shared the joy they find in each other's company.
