Vidyut Jammwal as Khuda Haafiz Chapter 2 releases on OTT: it's imperative that we get it in the forefront

Now that Vidyut Jammwal’s film Khuda Haafiz: Chapter 2 – Agni Pariksha is all set to premiere on Zee 5, Vidyut talked about the film and the current scenario of action films. When asked about such Indian films that have, or can give, a tough competition to Khuda Hafiz,Jammwal remarked, 

“Action stunt teams and actors are really doing very well in India, but I just think that the amount of money we spend in making action films in India is really very less. Like if I make a Commando Series for a certain budget, the budget in Hollywood would be zillion times more. So, I think that is the only difference, otherwise the skill, quality is exceptional here”

He also has a message for the people who haven't watched the film during the theatrical release, and can now watch on Zee 5 as it will be releasing soon across 190 countries.

“I'm glad that Khuda Haafiz 2: Chapter 2 - Agni Pariksha is premiering on a platform like ZEE5 because it is going to reach a global audience and showcase the kind of cinema we have made. The movie highlights a social cause and I think it's imperative that we get it in the forefront. I'm glad that people will get to see it on ZEE5.”

He also shared his views on action heros saying, 

“If you see online, there are many action heroes around the world who are doing spectacular stuff, they're bigger than the people who really perform in movies. So, I think these are the real action heroes who inspire action heroes like us across the globe.”

Vidyut also talked about the kindest compliments he received for Khuda Hafiz 2 and the ones that really stayed with him. He remarked,

 “Over the past decade as an actor the best thing that has happened to me is that everyone from the media fraternity has given great reviews for Khuda Haafiz. Not just for Chapter 1 but Chapter 2 also has gained positive reviews. This is the first time we got 4-4.5 stars for a movie and unanimously everyone has loved it. So, yes, it's a great compliment. Genuinely, it felt so nice that the audience enjoyed it.”

The film which was released theatrically on July 8th will be streaming on Zee 5 from 2nd September onwards.
