In one candid moment, Vicky is seen engrossed in conversation with a group of army men, highlighting the camaraderie forged during the training sessions.

The actor captioned the post with genuine warmth, expressing, "Must say I got a ‘warm’ welcome by the 6 Sikh Regiment this time during my trip to Delhi for #SAMबहादुर Trailer launch! In 2018, before we started filming URI, I was trained by the 7 Sikh Regiment. Unki obstacle training drills ki yaadein taaza ho gayi… always feels great to get a pat on your back by the real heroes! 🫡."

The trailer launch event itself was a momentous occasion, graced by the presence of Army Chief General Manoj Pande Sir and other distinguished officers at The Manekshaw Centre in Delhi. Vicky Kaushal, essaying the role of Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw is setting the tone for the film's impending release on December 1. 

As audiences brace themselves for this historical drama, Vicky Kaushal's multifaceted journey in Bollywood continues, with another talked-about project, Rajkumar Hirani's "Dunki," on the horizon, co-starring Shah Rukh Khan, Taapsee Pannu, and others, scheduled for a Christmas 2023 release.
