Vatsal Sheth on How Wife Ishita Has Planned a Special Birthday For Him

Celebrating a birthday in these testing times of being in lockdown due to COVID-19 might not be as interesting and exciting but there are always ways in which things can be made special, isn't it? That is what will be the case for actor Vatsal Sheth who will be celebrating his birthday tomorrow. Even though the celebrations will not be on a huge scale but currently staying in lockdown with wife Ishita Dutta, they have some small yet special plans.

Sticking to safety protocols and avoiding large gatherings, Sheth opened up on the plans and how wife Dutta has planned a special menu for the same.

Talking to Bombay Times about it, Sheth said, “We didn't have any elaborate discussion as such on this. It was understood that there will not be any big celebrations. These are times of great distress and turmoil and we are in the middle of it. We have to follow all the protocols and we can’t take our foot off the pedal now. Hopefully, we will get out of this situation soon. So, let's have very, very small celebrations, if at all. Let's also stay positive and follow the protocols currently to avoid risk of Covid-19."

So what is the menu planned? “Well Ishita has been in the kitchen since morning and I think I am in for a big surprise. I’m not what it is, but she said she wanted to make sure that I am happily surprised and that I don’t miss any of the fun on my birthday,” he adds.
