Urmila Matondkar files FIR after Her Instagram Account gets Hacked

Actress turned politician Urmila Matondkar fell prey to cyber crime as her official Instagram handle has been hacked. She had taken to social media to inform her fans about the same.

“My Instagram account has been hacked @instagram First they DM you n ask to follow a few steps n verify the account n it then it gets hacked..really..!!??? #notdone” she had tweeted.

And now, Urmila has filed a FIR with the cyber cell. She tweeted about her meeting with the Mumbai Police DCP, who enlightened me more on the issue. She said she will be working on it in the future and tagged Maharashtra Cyber Cell in her post.

“Cyber crimes” is not something that women should take lightly..as I went to file FIR on my @instagram ac hacking met this dynamic DCP #cybercrime @MumbaiPolice Smt. Rashmi Karandikar who enlightened me lot more on the issue. Will surely be working on it in future. @MahaCyber1” she wrote.

After Urmila’s Instagram account was hacked, all her posts were deleted and her username has been changed to “lnstagram Support”.
