Ulka Gupta misses playing ‘Phoolon Ki Holi’; shares fun incidents about the festival

With the festival of colours, Holi being right around the corner it’s time for us to paint everyone and everything with the colours if Joy and Happiness. And with this we bring to you a colourful interview of the extremely colourful and talented personality, Ulka Gupta. 

Holi denotes the victory of good over evil and thus we wanted to know what is it that Ulka would want to change or end in the society. Talking about the same, Ulka answered “I would only want for us all to find ways to connect now and then, be it festivals, big causes, community, etc. It just gets our hearts filled with warmth. And what I’d want to end would be atrocities against women in society. Women need to feel safer.”

Furthermore, the actress also recalled fun incident from one of her most memorable holi celebrations. Ulka shared, “I remember when I used to live in Dahisar during my growing years, us kids had this ‘Holi attack warfare’ among these 3 buildings that was separated by just a few long 6 feet tall walls. It was fun because it was kind of like paintball. I used to score the most. Oh, and yes, we all once jumped inside of a swimming pool with colors that is by far the my most memorable Holi.”

Lastly, the actress concluded by sharing what does she miss about holi from her childhood days, “My childhood friends of course, and the fact that I didn’t have to think about protecting my skin and hair. But honestly when it comes to having fun I forget about it all and now I have hacks to every Holi situation. Also, last but not the least there is nothing like Phoolon ki Holi” she concluded
