Udne Ki Aasha: Renuka orders Sayali to complete the chores & MOCKS her, Savitri comes to her rescue

The episode opens with Sayali handling household chores for a long time. Savitri observes her efforts, noticing that she receives little to no support from the rest of the family. Renuka keeps putting pressure on Sayali to manage all the work alone. Savitri tells Renuka not to treat her other two daughters-in-law differently. While everyone prepares for the birthday celebration, Sayali is still in her usual clothes. She is asked why she hasn’t worn the jewellery gifted by Savitri. Hearing this, Renuka and Tejas get tense. They fear that if Savitri learns the truth about the jewellery, they could be thrown out of the house.

At the same time, Shakuntala brings a television from her place after Renuka’s request. The family is surprised to see the gift Renuka has arranged for Savitri. Both Shakuntala and Renuka hide the fact that the TV is second-hand. When Tejas questions why it wasn’t bought from his own shop, they both make weak excuses about purchasing it from an old electronics store.

Akash prepares all the food himself, which surprises Savitri. Renuka feels envious after seeing her son’s effort to impress his grandmother. Tejas remains confused about what gift he should give Savitri. Later, Sayali appears wearing the fake jewellery, following Savitri’s earlier suggestion. Savitri appreciates her appearance. Shobha and Joohi arrive at the celebration and are welcomed by Savitri, though Renuka is unhappy with their presence.

Renuka insults Joohi by making a remark about the sisters’ character. Savitri tells Renuka to watch her words. Joohi and Akash start playfully teasing each other. Mamta walks in and notices their interaction. She feels annoyed but keeps quiet. When she sees Sayali’s jewellery, Mamta mocks her financial condition. Renuka gets nervous when Mamta hints that the jewellery is not real. But Savitri and Shobha both say the jewellery appears genuine.

Sayali feels low because her husband Sachin hasn’t come and isn’t answering her calls. Joohi also notices that her elder sister is visibly upset.
