Udaariyaan's Ankit Gupta on FateJo: It feels good to be one of the top 5 jodis of Indian television

Udaariyaan actor Ankit Gupta has been constantly grabbing a lot of attention courtesy the rising numbers for the show and the acting chops, of course. You and Priyanka are quite the craze among the youth today, how does it feel about it?

It is overwhelming, it feels good to be one of the top 5 jodis of Indian television and it feels good when people look up to you. It is very challenging sometimes and it is a great responsibility also because with great power comes great responsibilities. So, I always try and do something which will motivate people to better in their life.

Would you consider doing a web series with Priyanka?

Of course, anytime.

What goes into getting that chemistry right with Priyanka? Fans often ask if the two of you are dating?

I think we share a great bond and we are very very good friends and we understand each other and that's what gets the chemistry right. No, we are not dating (laughs) and I have no plans of dating anyone.

If you were to talk about your bond with co-stars Priyanka, Abhishek, and Isha, how is that?

The bond is great, you can see our stories and vlogs, so the bond is amazing.
